Poppies going – Daisies are here

Correction?  I originally called these flowers “daisies”, then chamomile, now back to daisy. —

My Scappoose poppy paintings are leaving the nest, going to good homes. I have added white chamomile, including the one below. Other flowers are in the works. Do you have a favorite volunteer flower growing near you? Let me know.

Another day at the market

It’s a lot of work, but it’s fun to be out meeting people. Most everyone likes the travel watercolors and the oil paintings. I only have poppies for now, but more local flowers are on the way. I have to get to work, painting. Maybe I’ll put assistant, Foxy, to work.
I drew another booth painting while I was at the market (4×6, watercolor). Here it is…

Selling Paintings at the Farmer’s Market

Hey – Mike and I went to the Scappoose (Oregon, USA) Farmer’s Market last Saturday. Here are some photos from the day. We worked hard. He was so busy he almost forgot to make me breakfast.

Photo 1 – Ready to go!

Photo 2 – All set up; just in time with thanks to my son’s wife, who lent a helping hand, and to Foxy, too.

Photos 3 and 4 – I stood outside my booth and painted these while at the market. First is the rooster, mascot of the Market. It about a 4 foot tall metal sculpture. Second is the flower booth across from me.

I did well for my first time at the market. There was lots of interest and I sold a few pieces of art!

Photo 5  – We were tired. Foxy pooped out as soon as we got home.
