Statement

My paintings are doorways into worlds that can be imagined or felt but not seen. Worlds free of conventional wisdom and reason where reality and imagination are intertwined. They open to new ways of perceiving and thinking about what is possible. The door opened for me when I walked alone into the Arizona desert as a child. I learned not only to see, but to feel. I discovered that reality often lies beyond perception and reason. My paintings draw on history, myth, psychology, and personal memories. They invite viewers to Think differently.

All of the paintings are oil on campus, wood panel, or gessoed paper.
