The Velhagen Clock is a historic two-faced clock located in downtown Alamosa on Main Street, just west of State Avenue. The clock was originally installed in 1912 by Velhagen Jewelers in front of their store on State Ave, just South of Main St. The clock is 18-foot-tall, cast-iron and was manufactured by the Seth Thomas Clock Company. It was shipped from Connecticut by train. It was removed in the 1960s, later restored and installed in its current location in 2024.
